Haircut

I got a haircut last week.

When I returned home after the haircut, I realized it was too long in the back.

"Just go back to her and have her cut it," my wife said.

I've never done that before. Normally I just just suffer and curse every time I look in the mirror.

But I went back to her.

I asked her to cut a little more in the back. She explained that the reason that she left it long in the back is that my face is out of proportion. My chin is too small, she said. That's why I need to have my hair longer in the back, she explained.

At first I was taken aback. But it's really great that she took the time to explain what was wrong with my face and head. No barber or hair stylists has ever done that before and it really made me appreciate her thoughtfulness.

At least that's what I thought when she was trimming the back more.
