Have I Forgotten How to Read?

I haven't read enough in the past couple years.

Sure, I was trying to survive a global pandemic, but for someone who wants to be a writer, I've barely read anything. I've been too jealous to read books. How did this person publish a book? I'm happy for them, of course, but I think, why can't I do that too? What is wrong with me. This is the one thing I've wanted to do with my life, and why can't I do it?

So I scroll through Instagram and hate myself.
