How to Stay Positive

I have trouble staying positive when I get stressed.

I get negative.

I lose my temper.

I swear more.

But instead I need to stand up straight and say, "I can do this! I believe in myself! I am a positive person! Everything will be fine. Negativity, get the hell away from me! Anger, go off! Yaaay! I can do this!"

I give myself a hug.

I kiss myself.

I pat myself on the back.

"Are you ok?" my son asks.

"Never been better!" I shout, as I grab his hand and begin to skip down the street. "Totally fine and normal!"

Which is what people who are totally fine and normal say all the time.
