Pirate Festival

We went to a Pirates and Corsairs festival yesterday in a seaside town called L'Estartit. There was a pirate ship, a children's band, food stalls, and plenty of kids and adults dressed as pirates.

My son is very into pirates. At the festival, we bought him a pirate hat and a sword.

Then we boarded a pirate ship and set out to steal and terrorize the neighboring port towns.

It was fantastic and a successful day. We robbed a few towns and made several thousand euros as well as stole lots of gold and jewelry from elderly people.

I'm hoping it will prove to be a core memory for my son.
