Running

Remember when you were a kid and it was fun to run?

Walking was boring. Running was the default.

My son reminded me of this today when I picked him up from school. After we got outside in the play area he took off running to the slide.

The way he ran with such enthusiasm reminded me of the joy I felt as a kid running in a playground or playing a game when I was a kid.

Do we ever feel that joy again? I think, as I cry into my pillow.
