Sleep, Sleep, Sleep
We slept in until 9:45am today. By we I mean my son and I. It was unexpected. My wife woke earlier, but she stayed in bed looking at Instagram and reading a novel. We haven't slept in that late since before my son was born.
When we woke up my son said, "Adeu," which is goodbye in Catalan. He went under the covers. I couldn't find him.
"Where is he?" I said to my wife.
"Who?" she said.
"Our son."
"What son?" she said.
I woke up.
It was five am. But my son was sleeping next to me. I gave him a little squeeze. He was there, warm, snoring.
