We Went to the Beach Today

Today we went to Calella de Palafrugell.

If I said to picture a perfect Mediterranean cove, this would be it. White houses line the shore. The sun glints off the clear water. People sunbathe.

So do I. In January I like to sunbathe nude. But I was homeschooled so nude just means my arms and ankles exposed. Wow, I feel so scandalous, but it's Europe so I think this is considered normal.

"Hola," I say. "Buenos dias!"

I feel so free. It's true, Europe is liberating. I can't wait to write my memoirs. They're going to be so good. You won't be able to put them down.
